A small SOS for all: During the Düsseldorf marathon, April 28, I completed 1KM for each year of my life.
SOS Children's Village in Liberia.
Especially for children life in Liberia is extremely challenging due to post-war trauma, recent Ebola, high poverty levels, and economic struggles. Children can't live with their families and some find a new home in an SOS family in one of the SOS Children's Villages. Here they receive care and education.
42 years passed since I was born in 1976. Each year, life offered many great opportunities and I have been so fortunate to cross many great people on my path; parental care, learning to cycle, attending school or during working life. Not everybody in the world grows up with the same opportunities.. 42 kilometers is the marathon distance. A lot of steps to achieve a milestone..Through my marathon participation and with your support I collected 1077€ donation in April, and each donation is a milestone for the SOS village.
On June 29 or 30, my brother Erik and I will attempt to cross the English Channel with a HobieCat and break a Guinness World Time Record of less than 3 hours.
You can on-board the English Channel Guinness Book Of Record Campaign by selecting one of the donations options. Donors are automatically getting a donation receipt that can be provided to tax authorities.
Welcome on-board of this campaign by donating before June 30, 2019
